1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QR No Expiration ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QR No Expiration is a SaaS application that allows users to generate, customize, and download QR codes. The Service includes:

  • QR code generation for URLs, text, email, phone, WiFi, and vCard formats
  • Custom color and size options
  • PNG and SVG download capabilities
  • Permanent QR codes via one-time payment of $1.49 USD

Free tier users can generate up to 3 QR codes per day with a 30-day expiration. Permanent QR codes (via $1.49 payment) never expire.

3. User Accounts

You must sign in using Google OAuth to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Payments & Billing

Payments are processed by Paddle, our third-party payment processor. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes.

  • The price for a permanent QR code is $1.49 USD (one-time payment)
  • There are NO subscriptions or recurring charges
  • You own your permanent QR code forever once payment is confirmed
  • All payments are final and non-refundable after 7 days

We do not store your payment card details. Paddle handles all payment processing and compliance.

5. QR Code License

You retain full ownership of all QR code content you create using the Service. We provide the infrastructure and technology to generate and host your QR codes.

When you purchase a permanent QR code, you receive a perpetual license to use that QR code. We will not use, reproduce, or distribute the content of your QR codes without your permission.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Generate QR codes containing illegal content or material
  • Create spam or unsolicited messaging QR codes
  • Phish or deceive users through QR code redirects
  • Violate any intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to circumvent QR code expiration or payment systems
  • Use automated bots or scraping tools to generate QR codes
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Service

Violations may result in account termination and permanent QR code deactivation.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues or server problems
  • Circumstances beyond our control

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance. We are not liable for any losses arising from service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

The QR No Expiration name, logo, design, and all related content on qrnoexpiration.com are our exclusive property. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

The Service itself, including all software, algorithms, and code, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology.

Your QR code content (the data encoded in your QR codes) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over the content you create.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"
  • WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to qrnoexpiration.com.

We will notify users of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
